After all of the horrible events that took place in France earlier this month, there began to circle in the social-newsophere some musings of up to 751 “No-Go Zones” in France (and in other parts of Europe.)
Apparently, Fox News ran this story, and then took a lot of heat for it. They then apologized saying they were misinformed about these “No-Go Zones”.
Now the mayor of Paris is saying that the City of Paris is planning to sue Fox News for inaccurate reporting.
So what are we to make of all this? Do these “No-Go Zones” really exist or don’t they?
One of the places I trust more than most others for news is the Gatestone Institute – a non-partisan, not-for-profit international policy council and think tank that deals specifically in areas of democracy, rule of law, human rights and Middle East reporting.
Today, they published their first in a multi-part series that goes into detail to document the reality of the “No-Go Zones” of Europe. I really encourage you to read this, and follow along for their future installments.
